The final spot in the Copa America final will be decided Wednesday when Colombia and Chile face off at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Chile, coming off the 7-0 demolition of Mexico, have to be brimming with confidence. Meanwhile, Colombia earned its spot in the semifinal by winning on penalty kicks against Peru.
The winner will face Argentina, which defeated Team USA 4-0 Tuesday in Houston. The final is Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New York. The loser will play USA in Phoenix on Saturday.
Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina said his team knows what to expect from Chile, the defending Copa America champion.
“We know the quality they have upfront and the form and speed they possess,” Ospina said during a news conference according to ESPN. at the same news conference.
“They can transition from defense to attack very quickly and they have players that are at the best teams in the world. That’s why we have respect for Chile.”
